              Celebrating Rocky Mountain
                          National Park

Thursday, April 23, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Loveland Museum/Gallery, Foote Auditorium

FREE

Please join us for a celebration in poetry of Rocky Mountain National Park’s 100 years. Poems will be read by five area poets—Roger Clark, Lynn Kincanon, E. A. Lechleitner, Veronica Patterson, and Lisa Zimmerman. The poems come from work created by RMNP artists-in-residence, from the Poetic Inventory of Rocky Mountain National Park, and from the participating poets’ experience captured in their poems. Readings will be accompanied by slides of the park and the Rocky Mountains by Jim Disney, painter, digital artist, and creator of the official centennial poster for RMNP—and twice a RMNP artist-in-residence.

Light refreshments will be offered.

“We are now in the mountains and they are in us, kindling enthusiasm, making every nerve quiver, filling every pore and cell of us…”
