On Poetry and Quietness

This will be good, really good:  “Considering the Made-Thing: Thoughts on Poetry, Ancient Greek, and the Strange Difficulty of Quietness.”

Dan Beachy-Quick, CSU associate professor of English, will read from his essay on silence and break silence by speaking about the important role the humanities play in the way society deals with current events and pressing issues.  4 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, in CSU’s Pathology Building, Room 101.
