In Fort Collins on Saturday (Sept 15) is the next installment of Evening Without Edit, a recurring open stage for writers across genres. Mandy Rose is the host and music will be provided by Sarah Louise Pieplow. Readers include HR Hegnauer, Serena Chopra, Rico Moore, Mandy Rose, Kevin Bartz, and Abigail McDonald. The reading takes place on the lovely outdoor stage at Avogadro's Number in Fort Collins. Then, 3 p.m. Sunday at the Rialto theatre in Loveland, hear piano and words alternate and resonate in Refractions, a concert featuring award-winning pianists Miroslava Mintcheva and David McArthur as well as local poet Veronica Patterson. What a stunning afternoon this will be!
