Note that tomorrow (September 6) is the registration deadline for the AAUW's author event to be held on September 15. See details under Beth's Picks column to the right.
Busy Saturday this week: There’s still room in local travel and science writer Carrie Visintainer’s class about the art, and business, of the personal essay. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. More information at http://northerncoloradowriters.com/
And Laura Pritchett will be talking about her recently published book Great Colorado Bear Stories at the Old Town Library in Fort Collins at 2:30. I’ve heard this presentation: very interesting!
The timing is such that you could even make both events!
And mark your calendars for a multi-genre art even (piano, poetry, etc.) at the Rialto, Sunday afternoon, 3 p.m. Sept. 16. Local poet extraordinaire Veronica Patterson is featured.
Also, Pete and I will be showing photos of our summer Icelandic adventure on Wednesday, September 26 in Fort Collins at the local Colorado Mountain Club meeting. Stay tuned for details on that one. (Of course we will do private showings too on request )
All of this an more is noted in the Beth’s Picks column to the left.
