Don’t miss the chance to hear Nicholas Carr, Pulitzer-nominated non-fiction author of, among other books, The Shallows: What the Internet Is Doing to Our Brains. He frequently writes, in publications such as the New York Times Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, the New Republic and Wired, about the Internet and the affect of media on history making. Only slightly upstaged by a visit by the Pres of the U.S. on Tuesday, Carr will be in Fort Collins this Wednesday, Aug, 29, 7-9 p.m. at he Fort Collins Hilton. It’s free (so you may want to arrive early for a choice seat).
