I have just returned from the performance of Susan’s
Dream: If Thee Must, Thee Must. It was
outstanding; one can only hope that other museums and libraries across the
nation will pick it up. Carrie Patterson,
daughter of Loveland’s Poet Laureate Veronica Patterson, was commanding as Susan
B. Anthony. I didn’t realize that the
mother/daughter team authored the play as well, but that explains while it was
so well composed.
