This coming Thursday, November 14, Loveland Poet Laureate
Veronica Patterson will read from her work at the Loveland Museum.
Although the reading, titled "To Tell a Story &...,”
is free and open to all, the evening will also launch fundraising for a poetry
contest for high-school-aged writers, so you might want to bring your check
book (if you still have such a thing!) or modern equivalent.
And speaking of museum-worthy technology, typewriters will
be available before the reading, so you can step back in time to record your
own words on the fly or those in a favorite poem.
Looks to be a full and fulfilling evening.
The typing starts at 6:30.
The reading begins at 7:00.
