Reading at Artworks in Loveland This Friday, April 17

Well now I’m blogging:  three in one week!  Although some post that many in half a day, I think it is a new record for this blogger!

Here is a reminder for one I already told you about—forgive me, but it bears repeating.

THIS Friday, April 17 (which may be TODAY by the time you get this if you are on the email feed) the poets in the IN CONVERSATION show at Artworks in Loveland will be reading their work and many of the visual artists will be on hand as well:  the art will be there for certain.

This is a one-time opportunity to hear the poems come off the wall and into voice.

The reception begins at 6 and the reading commences at 6:30.  There is usually food on hand, if you need that motivation (could keep you strong for the long trek back North if you are coming from Fort Collins).

I believe that every poet represented will read (see complete list in the poster to the right and in my post from the other day).   Wear comfortable shoes as it is usually a “standing” event, but I am confident predicting that you will be will be transported out of any somatic consciousness by this outstanding show.

If you aren’t lucky enough to make it for the reading Friday, you can still see the visual art that prompted the poems, read the poems, then take in the visual art the verses in turn prompted--three rich voices in every conversation--through the end of this month.

But, hope to see you at the reading!
