Writing
events in Northern Colorado seem to be winding down as we approach the end of
the year and the darkest (sunlight-wise anyway) days of the year: I see that my list of upcoming events of note
is growing rather thin! (Do send me any
you know about; I will be happy to add them.)
I
cannot recommend highly enough, though, the one remainder I know of, coming up
this Thursday: A Winter's Tale, 6-7:30
p.m. at the Loveland Museum and Gallery.
This
will be an enchanting evening of words and music, both classics and originals
by local artists.
Here is how the organizers
describe the evening: The feelings of generosity, kindness,
friendship will shine through the tinsel as a less commercial, less frantic
season is celebrated in stories, music, poetry and dramatic vignettes created
by your friends and neighbors. Leave your cares and obligations at home
and be ready for some merriment and moonlit inspiration.
How could anyone resist
that? And it is free!
