On the Loveland Poet Laureate Facebook page I read that the poetry of Úchèńnà Ogbújí (aka Uche Ogbuji) “fuses Igbo culture, European classicism, the American Mountain West, Hip-Hop and Afrofuturism.” That is more than enough to get me out of my cool basement cocoon. How about you?
He will be
reading/performing his work in Loveland this Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Rialto
Theater (upstairs in the Devereaux Room).
