In Person Poetry Returns to Loveland this Week!

I was caught a bit off guard by the upcoming poetry events at the end of this week in Loveland because they are IN-PERSON!.  I am in such a Zoom rut.  This will be refreshing.

Both events are sponsored by the Loveland Library and the Loveland Poet Laureate, among others.  And both feature two accomplished writers with deep roots in Northern Colorado:  Mary Ann Cain and George Kalamaras (who were graduate students at CSU studying with Bill Tremblay when I was an undergrad there)!

The first event is a reading, on Friday, August 6, from 6 to 7:30 at the Loveland Museum (also a sponsor of the event!).  It is free and no registration is required.  Why wouldn’t you be there?

The second event is a workshop the next day, Saturday, August 7 from noon until 2.  Registration is required, but easily done by sending an email to Daniel Tate at the Loveland Library (where they even will be held): daniel.tate@cityofloveland.org

Come celebrate the return to in-person poetry (but out of courtesy and caution, mask up!)
