Favorite Line of the Week

Here is my most recent favorite line from a novel:

“She was a tweedy matron of about 60, built like a brick dunny.”

-- Geraldine Brooks People of the Book.

“Dunny,” by the way, is an Aussie/Kiwi word for outhouse.
