Joy Harjo is U.S. Poet Laureate for another year!  Harjo is the first Native American laureate and has been working on When the Light of the World Was Subdued, Our Songs Came Through  an anthology of Native American Poetry and will continue with a recording project featuring the poets reading and discussing one of their poems.
