Here we are in the middle of National Poetry month!  It has been about a month since I posted on
this blog, or even updated events:  so
much has happened since then!  I will
spare you the details--you are no doubt very aware.
I am impressed with the drive to keep poetry circulating and
multiplying in this suddenly strange new world.
Spring’s Thousand Blended Notes will still happen on April
26 from 1 to 3, with an understandable venue change.  The latest installment of periodic poetic
evens at the Loveland museum, this one will take place online via Zoom.  Details pending: stay tuned.
I am also thrilled to see Marj Hahne continuing her online workshops—a
perfect fit for our current circumstances.
The first two have a small fee, the open mic session is free.
“The Sound of Water"  -This coming Friday!  April 17 from 10 a.m. to noon.  a one session encounter with Haiku masters,
and how they / we can enrich our own poems.
"Mater/ Matter"
- Sunday, May 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Four weeks of writing
the maternal.
Open Mic
Favorites - Tuesday, April 28, from 4:30 to 6:30; share your favorite
poems by other poets.
Enjoy these and this unexpected opportunity to spend more
time writing——perhaps: some of you may be finding that staying home does not
necessarily mean having more time!
