The forecast calls for a
return to winter this weekend, with a slight warming trend on Sunday to clear
the sidewalks: what a perfect combination for an afternoon of poetry at
the Loveland Museum and Gallery. Drop in from 1 to 3 for Winter Wit and
Whimsy this Sunday the 13th,
a lighthearted celebration of winter, in poetry and music. The afternoon opens with a brief open mic to
start the show followed by a variety of readers and performers.
I am told you should arrive
a little early to sign up if you want to read as there will be time for only 5
or 6 people at the open mic, with a 3 minute limit.
