I suppose it isn't a coincidence, but rather, good PR that Clive Thompson was on campus and then on NPR (http://www.npr.org/2014/10/19/357341804/the-making-of-r2d2-galaxys-most-beloved-robot). I was sorry I didn't get to his presentation--did anyone else out there?
Maybe I will do better this week. Heaven knows (interesting expression) that I would like to make it to Thursday's Winter Harvest, and I hope that YOU do. The evening features poet, memoirist, and editor of SWEET, Ira Sukrungruang and CSU Creative Writing faculty member, Sasha Steensen. Bring a non-perishable food item to add to the local food pantry. Enjoy this evening at 7:30 p.m., University Center for the Arts, Remington Street, Fort Collins.
