This is rather late notice, but I just saw this in the paper
and know that many of you may be interested:
author and traveler Preethi Burkholder will be speaking Wednesday (9-12) in
Loveland about her latest book 17 Women
Who Shook the World. The book itself sounds intriguing, but the article
about her also mentions her struggle to find a publisher—seven books ago! She MAY also be speaking about this
journey (although I am not sure). The Loveland Lions Club is
sponsoring the event, which is at noon at the Golden Corral in Loveland. I invite you to give a report by replying to this blog after you attend the event.
