Bonus Prompt
I don't usually give writing prompts outside of the Salon, but what the heck. I just saw this idea and wanted to share it before I forget. It comes from a celebration at CSU during National Library Week. I, unfortunately, missed the event, but here is the idea: Make a poem out of book spines. Choose books from your library (personal or public) and stack them so that each title on the spine makes a line of a "vertical" poem. Of course you can then write these down so that the poem continues to exist even after you return the books to the shelf. Here is a sample:
