AMERICAN LIFE IN POETRY: http://www.americanlifeinpoetry.org/
American Life in Poetry provides newspapers and online publications with a free weekly column featuring contemporary American poems. The sole mission of this project is to promote poetry: American Life in Poetry seeks to create a vigorous presence for poetry in our culture. There are no costs for reprinting the columns; we do require that you register your publication here and that the text of the column be reproduced without alteration. The poem in each column is brief and will be enjoyable and enlightening to readers of newspapers and online publications. Each week, a new column will be posted. POET'S COOP: http://www.poetscoop.org/
This website is a resource for many Northern Colorado poetry related endeavors—it is a resource for poets to connect with other poets in the northern Colorado area, and it provides information on events, readings, and other opportunities. It also is an archive of poetry from Colorado poets, audio recordings, biographies and video clips of poets. The Poet’s Coop also provides videos of readings presented on CCTV, a local access television station out of Boulder County.
This blog celebrates language, highlights important literary events and news in Northern Colorado, and supports Second Letter Writing Salons, personalized writing workshops led by writer and educator Beth Lechleitner
If you know of a Northern Colorado literary event (book signing, reading, etc.) that is not included in this blog, or have a link to a literary site that you like, or just want to share a wonderful word, send a message with the details to beth@secondletter.com. Click here for submission guidelines.
