Revision
(a poem gleaned from knitting instructions)
Begin at the center of the sole.
Work to middle,
Turn.
Row two and all even rows
Work as established,
Rows 3, 7, and 15: increase one.
On wrong side
Work to gap,
Join.
Place marker.
Repeat.
Maintaining pattern, divide.
Cut.
Being careful not to twist,
Work both together.
With right side facing,
Divide.
Increase one.
Work to end.
Weave in loose ends.
Blot out as much as possible.
Allow to air dry.
Block to fit.
